Major airline conglomerate, Lufthansa Group, has decided to keep its flights grounded at the Tel Aviv airport until June 22.
The abrupt halt in operations can be attributed to the escalating violence between the Israeli army and the Palestinian territory of Gaza.
Since early May, Lufthansa, along with its partner airlines such as Swiss, Austrian, Brussels, Eurowings, Ita, and Lufthansa Cargo, have halted flights to Tel Aviv following a rocket strike near the airport from Yemen[1][2][3].
