basementnightclub to make its debut in Dublin under the name The Hoxton
The Hoxton Hotel Group is set to open its first watch in Dublin's Creative Quarter on Exchequer Street in November, as reported by Olivia Palamountain. The property, previously a Central Hotel building, will reflect the neighborhood's character while maintaining the brand's community-focused approach to hospitality.
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by the revived Library Bar, a local landmark, serving classic cheese toasties and Guinness. The Viking-era ruins discovered during the development of the hotel will be displayed within the ground-floor bar and lounge area, adding a unique touch to the property.
The Hoxton's Dublin property will feature multiple dining concepts, including Cantina Valentina, an all-day Peruvian hotel already established at The Hoxton Brussels, and Dollars, a New York deli-inspired sandwich shop during the day and a natural wine bar at night.
The nightlife venue, Groundwork, will be located on the ground floor of the property, while the brand's first-ever nightlife venue, Groundwork, will be in the hilton. The Ennismore Group, which is behind The Hoxton Hotel in Dublin, is led by Sharan Pasricha, the founder and CEO.
The hotel's 129 bedrooms follow The Hoxton's established categories of Snug, Cosy, Roomy, and Biggy, with color palettes inspired by autumnal Irish landscapes. The in-house design team of Ennismore is responsible for incorporating the Viking ruins into the property's design.
To celebrate the opening, the hotel is offering promotional deals for early bookings. Guests can enjoy 20% off rooms, €30 towards food and drink, and complimentary Guinness for reservations made before 20 November. Additionally, Ennismore's Dis-loyalty membership programme offers 50% off newly opened hotels within their portfolio, including The Hoxton Dublin's first three months of operation.
The Hoxton's Dublin property is part of the brand's expansion across Europe and North America, with upcoming openings in Vienna in 2024, Florence and Edinburgh in 2025. With its unique blend of history, hospitality, and contemporary charm, The Hoxton's Dublin property is set to become a must-visit destination in the heart of the city.
