Carthago has updated its stylish C line collection for 2026, featuring revamped interior designs and a novel fixed-bed arrangement.
The luxury motorhome manufacturer, Carthago, has unveiled an updated chic c-line range for 2026, introducing several significant changes and new features. One of the key updates is the addition of Fiat Ducato-based vehicles alongside the traditional Mercedes Sprinter-based models, providing more options for customers.
New Base Vehicles
For the first time, Carthago offers the chic c-line and C2-tourer A-class motorhomes on the Fiat Ducato chassis. These are available in two weight classes: a lightweight 3.5-ton version and a comfort 4.2-ton version.
Refreshed Exterior Design
The new Mercedes Sprinter-based chic c-line models receive the modern “V-face” front facade, initially introduced for the e-line models. This design includes a hexagonal grille with a central chrome “C” and grey A-pillars extending to the roof. The Fiat Ducato variants also feature new exterior graphics and a stylish rear with dynamic tail lights shaped in the typical Carthago “C” branding.
Updated Interiors
All new chic c-line models come with redesigned interiors featuring:
- Standard “Amalfi” style with “Exclusive Walnut” furniture finish, bi-colour handleless overhead lockers, and natural stone effect worktops.
- Optional “Cortina” style with muted white locker doors and wood-effect worktops.
- Two new interior style options are available, including the premium “Essenza” architecture with elegant walnut veneer and ambient lighting.
- Enhanced living space architecture with a shortened L-shaped seating area to allow more room and a wider passageway.
Upgraded Kitchen Layout
Kitchens now include a floating worktop that also serves as a raised room divider, plus a bar cabinet on the rear wall with a pull-out wine rack, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality.
New Floor Plans and Layouts
The 2026 range features about 14 models including new layouts such as the T 4.9 LE fixed single beds in the rear, and two new layouts for the C2-tourer I available on both Fiat Ducato and Mercedes Sprinter bases. The C1-tourer T also offers two new layouts for greater variety.
Advanced Safety and Equipment
Standard safety features include airbags, ABS, ESP, hill-holder, traction control, and full LED headlights with daytime running lights. Additional comfort and convenience include a “Coming Home” function activating central locking and exterior lights, luxury seating, and stylish “Profi Gourmet” hob in the kitchen.
Lightweight Construction Focus
Despite being premium motorhomes, the Fiat Ducato-based models maintain a focus on lightweight design to keep some versions under 3,500 kg while still offering four homologated seats, broadening usability without sacrificing quality.
In summary, the 2026 Carthago chic c-line refresh expands the range to include Fiat Ducato-based vehicles for the first time, introduces a striking new exterior “V-face” design for Mercedes-based models, updates the interiors with new styles and more flexible layouts, enhances kitchen functionality, and retains a commitment to lightweight construction and advanced safety features.
