The Spreewerkstätten have pledged to invest a minimum of 18 million euros in the facility across two decades, while the state is set to invest approximately 33 million euros in revitalization, focusing on the roof and spaces unused by the Spreewerkstätten.
Initially, 49 million euros were earmarked in a separate fund for restoration. However, due to the substantial investment from the operator, the state is expected to save around 15 million euros, which can be reallocated to support other cultural sites.

Goiny disclosed that a unique clause in the contract obligates the operator to share profits above a certain threshold with the state. "This contract strikes a balance between economic engagement and fiscal responsibility," asserted Goiny.
