Coachmen RV Unveils First All-Electric Class B Motorhome, the RVEX
Coachmen RV, a division of Forest River, is set to unveil its first all-electric Class B motorhome, the RVEX. The vehicle, which is being hailed as a 'bold first step' into electric vehicle technology by General Manager Zach Eppers, will make its public debut at the Forest River Expo next year.
The RVEX, priced at an expected MSRP of $150,000, is designed with lightweight materials like G-Strong and Lisocore to maximize its range. This innovative approach, combined with a separate house battery system and a 1,000-watt roof-mounted solar array, allows the RVEX to travel up to 270 miles on a single charge.
Eppers, originally from Goshen, Indiana, expressed his excitement about the RVEX, stating that it marks a significant step forward for Coachmen RV in the electric vehicle market. Production of the RVEX is scheduled to begin in 2026.
