Cyclist Liam Garner Continues Epic Journey from Portugal to Singapore
Liam Garner, the young adventurer who made history as the youngest person to cycle from Alaska to Argentina, is currently undertaking his second major inter-continental cycling journey. This time, he is traveling from Portugal to Singapore.
The journey began sometime before August 2025, and social media posts from July and August confirm that it is still ongoing. Liam has been regularly updating his followers on TikTok and Instagram, sharing videos and photos of his daily progress and key milestones.
On his TikTok account, Liam detailed his daily distances. For instance, he covered 211 miles between days 6 and 7, and 349 miles between days 8 and 11, indicating a sustained pace over more than a week of cycling. His Instagram posts feature scenic photos and locations, such as the westernmost point of continental Europe, Cabo da Roca, providing a visual storytelling of his adventure.
This isn't Liam's first extensive cycling expedition. In 2021, he cycled from Alaska to Argentina, a journey that covered over 16,000 kilometers.
However, Liam's journey was not without incident. While staying in the Bosnian city of Foča, he was robbed and beaten by a group of men. Despite the negative experience, Liam still recommends traveling to Bosnia. He managed to retrieve his valuables and even took photos of the attackers' faces and license plates, with the intention of filing a police report.
Despite the setback, Liam is back on the road and continues to share his experiences with his over 541,600 TikTok followers. On August 10, he announced that he is doing well and is safe.
The details of a reported death of a Mexican influencer are not provided in the text. However, it is clear that Liam's journey is a testament to his resilience and determination, inspiring many with his spirit of adventure.
As Liam continues his journey, we wish him safe travels and countless more miles ahead.
