Daily winter wardrobe: clothing suggestions for each day

Day 1 Travel Outfit
The outfit for Day 1 is a simple, yet chic combination that can take the wearer straight into dinner without needing to change. The travel outfit consists of a sweater, jeans, tote bag, sunnies, a long necklace, and a simple pair of black ankle booties. These booties are bulky items that Doll wears on the plane to free up space in the carry-on suitcase.
Day 2: Adventure and Relaxation
Day 2 is filled with hiking during the day and hot tubbing in the evening. For this day, Doll opts for yoga leggings, a base layer tee, a Patagonia jacket, running shoes, a beanie, a swimsuit, jeans, black ankle booties, a crossbody bag, a long necklace, a striped turtleneck, a black sweater, and a cognac cocoon coat.
Staying Fresh and Wrinkle-Free
Doll emphasizes the importance of keeping clothes fresh and wrinkle-free during travel. As soon as she arrives at her destination, she hangs all her clothes.
The Perfect Travel Coats
For cold city temperatures, Doll recommends the Stadium-Cloth Cocoon Coat from J.Crew and Spiewak Aviation Eskimo Parka for travel coats. For more adventurous trips, she suggests wool-lined duck boots like the UGG Cecile.
Day 3: Sightseeing and Theatre
Day 3 is designed for sightseeing and a night at the theatre, which will be cold and slushy. The outfit includes weather boots, a base layer, a striped turtleneck, a coat, a sanitizing travel steamer, chic black ankle booties, a long necklace, and a small black crossbody bag.
Day 4: More Sightseeing and Dinner
The outfit for Day 4 includes more sightseeing and a downtown dinner. Comfortable and warm shoes are the focus, with dressier black ankle booties being worn instead of weather boots.
