Dermbach Library's 'I'm a Bookworm' Project Culminates in Grand Reading Festival
Dermbach library is hosting a grand reading festival on October 29, featuring an art exhibition, prize-giving, treats, and a special book reading session with author Anja Tettenborg. The event is part of the 'I'm a Bookworm' reading promotion project that started in June and ends on October 23.
The festival is open to enthusiastic readers from Dermbach and surrounding areas. Children from grades 3 to 6 can participate by borrowing and rating six fantastic, age-appropriate books about friendship and togetherness. No registration is required; interested children can simply drop by the library. Since the start before the summer holidays, nearly 30 children have already participated.
Reading and rating one book qualifies for participation in the prize-giving. The library has seen a great response, with children eager to join in and explore the exciting selection of children's and youth books. The project promises a big celebration at the end, with prizes and a memorable reading festival.
