The town's allure has been further enhanced by the construction of a new trail connecting the 'Breath of the Mountains' park with Dante's Gorge. This approximately 700-meter long route will be built using natural materials, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding environment.
The project, fully sponsored, is a significant step towards expanding the town's offerings. The investor who built the cable car in Goryachy Klyuch is leading the initiative, aiming to provide visitors with an immersive and engaging experience.
Various ideas are being considered for the connection of the 'Breath of the Mountains' park to the trails of Dante's Gorge. Pedestrian paths and the construction of a bobsled run are among the proposals on the table.
In addition to the new trail, Goryachy Klyuch has also renovated its old paths and built new ones. These improvements have contributed to a 8% increase in tourist numbers compared to 2023, with nearly 102,000 tourists vacationing in the town in 2024.
The first half of 2024 saw a total of 79,000 tourists visiting Goryachy Klyuch. The town's appeal lies in its peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity for quiet walks along forest trails.
Recently, new art objects, including moving dinosaurs, have been installed under the cable car. However, there is currently no information available to confirm the purpose or origin of these dinosaur sculptures, or if they are part of the ecotrail.
