Discover Ancient Egypt's Treasures in Rome's 'Treasures of the Pharaohs' Exhibition

From October 24, 2025, to May 3, 2026, the Quirinal Stables Museum in Rome hosts 'Treasures of the Pharaohs', the largest exhibition on ancient Egypt near me ever held in Italy. Organised by the Ministry of Culture, it features 130 major pieces from Egypt and Italy, offering an immersive journey into the divine world of pharaohs and daily life along the Nile.

The exhibition, located at Via Ventiquattro Maggio, 16, showcases the relationship between pharaohs and the divine through statues and steles adorned with hieroglyphics. It recreates the atmosphere of ancient Egyptian tombs and temples using lighting effects, providing an immersive experience. Visitors can explore monumental statues, ritual artefacts, jewellery, and papyri that depict ancient Egyptian life and culture.

A significant part of the exhibition focuses on death and the afterlife, displaying decorated sarcophagi, death masks, and funeral texts. It also delves into how the flow of the Nile influenced collective existence in ancient Egypt. The exhibition's website is scuderiequirinale.it, and the museum's phone number is +39 02 9289 7722.
