Kempenfest 2025: A Four-Day Celebration in Barrie, Ontario
Get ready for a summer extravaganza as Kempenfest, one of Ontario's largest festivals, returns to Barrie's scenic waterfront from August 1 to August 4, 2025. The festival will span two kilometres of Barrie's waterfront, transforming the area into a bustling hub of entertainment. Over 300 arts and crafts vendors, more than 30 food vendors including a popular Poutine Village, 30 rides and games in the midway, an antiques market, face painters, buskers, youth activities, and two stages of live music performances are just a few of the attractions that await visitors.
For the little ones, a family-friendly Kids Village near Centennial Beach will offer a fun-filled environment, while the Oasis Lakeside Patio Bar and Barrie Wrestling will cater to adults seeking a more energetic experience. Admission to the festival grounds is free, but ticketed evening concerts are held on the OLG MainStage at the Rotary Beer Gardens from Friday through Sunday, with a special ticketed show on the Monday afternoon.
The festival's live music offerings include free daytime performances on both Saturday and Sunday, as well as headlining evening shows that require tickets.
