International Event Slated for Nov. 18 at Park University: A Global Gathering Awaits
Park University's Office of International Student Services is hosting the International Festival as part of the University's celebration of International Education Week. The event will take place on November 18, 2022, from 5 to 8 p.m., in the Park Avenue area within the Academic Underground on the University's Parkville Campus.
This year's International Festival promises to be a vibrant and exciting celebration of cultures from around the world. The event will feature information booths, performances, cultural activities, and fashion shows representing countries from every continent.
The highlight of the evening will be an international buffet, served from 5 to 6:30 p.m., showcasing a variety of dishes from each continent. The buffet is open to the public for a cost of $12, while Park students and employees on a meal plan can eat free with their Park ID.
The countries scheduled to be represented at the festival include Bangladesh, Brazil, China, The Gambia, Ghana, India, Iran, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Togo, Uganda, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam. However, the specific list of participating countries may be subject to change, so it is recommended to check directly with Park University's official communications for the most up-to-date information.
