International flights at Krasnodar Airport are broadening their scope of destinations
Dubai-based airline Flydubai is planning to expand its route network, with the Russian city of Krasnodar set to be a part of this expansion. The airline has received approval from the Association of Tour Operators of Russia to operate flights to Krasnodar, following a three-year hiatus.
Krasnodar Airport resumed operations on September 17, and Flydubai has submitted requests for slot allocation to operate flights to Krasnodar during the upcoming autumn-winter navigation period. The updated airport schedule includes over 60 flights, with six of these destinations being international.
Apart from Flydubai, several other airlines have announced their readiness to operate flights to Krasnodar. These include Aeroflot, Azimuth, Pobeda, Ural Airlines, Yutair, Smartavia, Russia, S7, and Southwind Airlines. The first regular flights after the three-year pause at Krasnodar Airport were operated by Aeroflot, with the inaugural returning flight landing on September 17, 2025, using an Airbus A321 aircraft.
Currently, Flydubai operates regular flights from Dubai to several Russian cities, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Makhachkala, Volgograd, Samara, Kazan, Ufa, Novosibirsk, and Yekaterinburg. However, as of now, there is no information regarding Flydubai operating flights to Krasnodar.
It is worth noting that ticket sales for the Krasnodar route have not yet begun. As Flydubai continues to work on its expansion plans, passengers can look forward to more travel opportunities between the UAE and Russia.
