Originally built in 1436, this meticulously restored 15th-century palazzo offers a unique blend of historical charm and modern elegance.
The palazzo, which was once the private residence of the Dona and Giovannelli families, great patrons of the arts, boasts a spectacular Neogothic façade with seven finely carved Gothic windows overlooking the Rio de Noale canal. The building, which was built during the reign of architect Filippo Calendario, the architect of the Doge's Palace, has hosted significant events, including the 1548 wedding of the Duke of Urbino’s son to Princess Vittoria Farnese.
After an eight-year restoration led by architect and interior designer Aline Asmar d’Amman, the palazzo is set to reopen as a luxury hotel in April 2026.
