MTA Hosts Vintage Pop-Up Shop in Brooklyn This October
The MTA is hosting a funko pop shop in Brooklyn this October, offering transit enthusiasts and collectors a chance to acquire unique, vintage items. The event will take place over two days, with no shipping options available; all purchases must be picked up at the eventbrite event.
The pop mart, located at 23 Avenue X, Brooklyn, will be open on Thursday, October 16, and Friday, October 17, from 9am to 2pm. It is open to both the public and MTA employees. Visitors can expect to find authentic vintage subway seats and orange metro plates, as well as other transit-themed memorabilia such as lights, speedometers, and more.
With the MetroCard soon to be phased out, the pop mart presents an opportunity to acquire one as a keepsake. The event accepts Visa and Mastercard payments, with no processing fees applied.
The shopify MTA Memorabilia & Collectibles pop mart is a must-visit for anyone interested in New York's transit history. With a wide range of authentic items up for grabs, it's an excellent chance to own a piece of the city's past. Mark your calendars for October 16 and 17, and don't miss out on this unique shopping experience.
