In a world where luxury meets glamour, Paris Hilton's personal jet, Sliv Air, stands out as a shining example. This customized Gulfstream G450, gifted to Hilton by her entrepreneur husband Carter Reum, is a flying extension of her iconic pink aesthetic and personal brand.
The exterior of Sliv Air boasts an iridescent pink finish, adorned with prominent slogans like "That's hot" and "Sliv Air" on the fuselage and tail. Inside, the cabin is a lavish space, tailored with pink sequined carpeting, hand-sewn leather armchairs, and a custom lighting system offering seven shades of pink. The ceiling is decorated with pink hummingbird paintings, adding a unique artistic flourish.
The interiors are divided into dedicated zones for comfort and lifestyle continuity. Comfortable beds, adorned with Barbie or heart-patterned throws and cushions, create restful spaces. The living room area uses calming beige tones with matte wood and pastel accents, designed for relaxation.
Notably, the fully-equipped kitchen with marble countertops, integrated appliances, and well-organized service areas reflects a desire for discreet comfort. During a flight, Paris Hilton even showcased a personalized cake themed on her TV series, "The Simple Life," underscoring the plane’s role as a living space rather than just transport.
The cabin-management system and in-flight entertainment allow passengers to control audio/video, lighting, and other cabin systems via touch screens at their seats, making it a "private 4K theater in the sky." When presented with multiple options, Hilton and Reum went all-in on in-flight entertainment and upgraded Wi-Fi for the G450.
Sarah Mespelt Larrañaga, a Marina Del Rey, Calif.-based aviation designer, customized the G450. The tables in the G450 are lined in Shagarrett Shell by Garrett Leathers. The interior includes a headliner with pink hummingbirds, carpet with sparkles, a new galley and aft lavatory, newly built four-passenger divans, a lighting system with seven shades of pink, and six executive seats with Aeristo leather inserts and embossed logos.
The G450's exterior features three colors: Metallic white, Metallic Pink, and a bespoke pink named "Paris Pink" by paint manufacturer PPG. Sarah Mespelt Larrañaga worked closely with over two dozen aviation specialists on the colors and materials for the G450. The aircraft's name, Sliv Air, is a variation of "sliving" which is a portmanteau coined by Hilton.
Sliv Air, with its bold design and extravagant pink aesthetic, is set to be one of the most recognizable jets in the sky. Unlike other celebrities like Taylor Swift or Elon Musk, Paris Hilton's pink-and-white G450 will stand out as a testament to her unique style and personal brand.
