Rewards for informants available in Munich and its vicinity
In the heart of Bavaria, Munich and its surrounding areas are offering a plethora of exciting activities for students and children during the summer holidays. Here's a roundup of some of the most enticing opportunities.
Free Mountain Adventure for Children
Starting from Monday, August 4th, children up to 15 years old can embark on a free mountain adventure at Spitzingsee. The day includes a ride on the Taubensteinbahn, up to three rides on the Stümpflingbahn, a free marble run, and up to three downhill rides with MountainCarts for children from 1.35m (helmet required, sunglasses recommended).
The Munich Holiday Pass
The Munich Holiday Pass, available for children and young people aged 6 to 17 years old, is a fantastic way to explore the city and its surroundings. For children between 6 and 14 years old, free MVV travel (zone M to 6) is included, and the pass costs 14 €. Young people aged 15 to 17 can purchase the pass for 10 €.
In addition to the free travel, the Munich Holiday Pass offers free entry to public baths and various discounts, such as Umadum, Wildpark Poing, or Zoo Hellabrunn. A passport photo is required for its creation.
Report Card Rewards
On July 31st, all students can receive a cocktail voucher at Therme Erding when they show their report card. In Fairytale Park Marquartstein, children who start school in September will receive free entry for the whole of September when accompanied by a full-paying adult.
Summer Learning Opportunities
While the summer holidays are a time for relaxation and fun, they also offer a chance for personal growth and skills development. In Munich and surrounding areas, report card actions during the summer holidays primarily include participation in educational and developmental summer programs, workshops, and camps focused on personal growth, skills development, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Examples include language and cultural summer camps, specialized summer schools, and geriatronics summer schools that emphasize interdisciplinary collaboration, practical workshops, and knowledge exchange to inspire research cooperation, focusing on problem-solving rather than graded assessments.
