Does my personal car insurance cover rental cars?
Your own auto insurance policy may cover most rental cars with the same coverage limits and deductibles, as long as you're renting within the U.S. and Canada. If you're traveling outside of North America, your policy usually won't suffice, making rental car coveragecritical when abroad.

- Customizable rental car care coverage: Choose the days and rental vehicles you want to cover. Coverage starts at $6.95 a day for California residents and $7.58 a day for residents of other states. Coverage may not be available in all states.
- 24/7 assistance: Access 24/7 support, including weekends and holidays, and our award-winning app, where you can quickly chat with our team, file claims, and receive approved reimbursements directly to your digital wallet.
